The Central Bank of Cyprus would like to inform the public that all banks will be closed on the following dates, which are bank holidays:
Tuesday, 25 December 2007
Wednesday, 26 December 2007
Tuesday, 1 January 2008.
Following a decision of the Minister of Finance, on 31 December 2007 no transactions between the banks and the public will take place, with the only exception of cash deposits between 10:00 and 13:00.
On 1 January 2008 banks will open certain branches in each district from 11:00 to 14:00 to facilitate the exchange of Cyprus pounds with euro.
