Auction Results of Treasury Bills with 26-weeks maturity issued on 4.1.2010

An auction was held on 16.12.2009 for the sale by the Central Bank of Cyprus, for and on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Cyprus, of up to €500.000.000 Treasury Bills with date of issue 4.1.2010 and 26-weeks maturity.

The total value of the bids submitted was €1.145.000.000. The competitive bids amounted to €1.135.000.000 and the non-competitive bids to €10.000.000. The total value of bids accepted was €500.000.000. The competitive bids accepted amounted to €490.000.000 while the non-competitive bids accepted amounted to €10.000.000.

The lowest and highest prices of the competitive bids accepted were €993,24 and €994,47 respectively for every €1.000 nominal value of Treasury Bills, representing annual yields of 1,35% and 1,10% respectively. The weighted average price of the competitive bids accepted was €993,77 per €1.000 nominal value representing an annual yield of 1,24%.
