The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that the Minister of Finance has decided to extend the redemption period of matured Savings Bonds nominal value £5 of series 13-171, until the 31st December, 2007. The redemption period of Savings Bonds nominal value £5 series 1-12 and 172-190, which expires during this period, is also extended until the aforesaid date.
The Minister of Finance has also decided to extend the redemption period of matured Savings Bonds nominal value £10 series 1-6, which has expired and the redemption period of Savings Bonds nominal value £10 series 7-8, which will expire during this period, until the 31st December, 2007.
An Announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Republic on Friday 25th November, 2005.
The above Savings Bonds will be repaid either at the Central Bank of Cyprus or any other banking institution as from Monday 28th November, 2005.
