Expiry of the redemption period of matured Savings Bonds nominal value £5 series 160-163 and Savings Bonds nominal value £10 series 1-6

The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that the redemption period of matured Savings Bonds nominal value £5 series 160-163 and Savings Bonds nominal value £10 series 1-6 expires on 21^st December, 2004.  

In virtue of the decision taken by the Minister of Finance, the redemption period of Savings Bonds will not be extended after the expiration of two years from the date of maturity of the bonds.  

In view of this Savings Bonds nominal value £5 series 160-163 and Savings Bonds nominal value £10 series 1-6 will cease to be redeemable after 21^st December, 2004.
