Exhaustion of stock of coin in cards
The Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) announces that due to extremely high demand, stocks of the commemorative brilliant uncirculated condition coin in cards issued on 14 December 2020 on the occasion of thirty years of existence of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics have been exhausted.
As a result, the CBC will not accept any more applications for the purchase of the above coin in cards. Furthermore, sales of the coin in cards over the counter at the CBC and electronically through the CBC e-shop are suspended with immediate effect.
It is noted that stocks of the said coin in proof condition placed in a case were exhausted in the first day of issue. As a result, only coins in brilliant uncirculated condition placed in a capsule and coins in uncirculated condition placed in rolls of 25 pieces are still available.
In case of cancellation of any orders for coins placed in cards, the quantity of coins that will become available will be put up for sale in the e-shop and at the CBC counters.
