Educational lectures by the CBC to primary schools

Friday, 9 March 2018

As part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, the Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) delivered in November and December 2017 twelve lectures on financial literacy to 6th grade primary school pupils. The lectures were aimed at educating pupils on every day financial matters as well as familiarising them with simple economic concepts, with the ultimate goal of creating and promoting financial awareness.

The lectures were given by the staff of the CBC’s Financial Stability Department. Upon their completion, the pupils and their teachers were given a money box as a commemorative gift.
