The Central Bank of Cyprus has today released the MFIs deposits and loans statistics for the reference month of November 2018, which are included in the December 2018 edition of Monetary and Financial Statistics.
Total deposits in November 2018 recorded a net decrease of €272,7 million, compared with a net increase of €299,7 million in October 2018. The annual growth rate reached 3,4%, compared with 3,8% in October 2018. The outstanding amount of deposits reached €47,5 billion in November 2018.
Total loans in November 2018 exhibited a net increase of €40,2 million, compared with a net decrease of €976,5 million in October 2018. The annual growth rate stood at -2,8%, remaining unchanged compared with October 2018. The outstanding amount of total loans reached €39,9 billion in November 2018.
