Administration, Maintenance and Support of the SWIFT System and its related Infrastructure

The Central Bank of Cyprus (hereinafter "the Bank") announces a Tender for the provision of services for the administration, maintenance and support of the "SWIFT" system and its related infrastructure.

Due to the nature of the contract under assignment, the Tender will be conducted following a restricted procedure, in two stages as follows:

1. First stage/Prequalification stage: Invitation to Economic Operators to express their interest to participate in the Tender by submitting Form 1 (“Request to Participate”) as well as all the required documents defined in the Tender documents. Selection of those Interested Economic Operators which meet the pre-requisite criteria for participation in the Second stage of the Tender.
2. Second stage/Contract award stage: Invitation to Interested Economic Operators, prequalified from the First stage, to submit a Tender and award of contract to the successful tenderer.

The contract shall be awarded to the most economically advantageous Tender, based exclusively on the lowest price.  

The “Request to Participate” and other, related to the Tender, documents, shall be available from the Bank’s website by clicking here, from 06/12/2024 until 24/01/2025. The Tender’s Contract Notice may also be retrieved from the Official Journal of the European Union.

It should be noted that the documents are only available in English. In case there is a need to obtain the documents in Greek, a relevant request must be sent via email to epitropiagoron@centralbank.cy.

Interested Economic Operators are requested to email their contact information (business name, address, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address) to epitropiagoron@centralbank.cy, indicating as subject the reference “Tender 06/2024 - SWIFT system”. The Bank bears no responsibility in the event that an interested economic operator does not provide contact information and/or has provided incorrect contact information, resulting in not receiving any additional information or clarifications regarding the Tender.

According to the terms of the Tender Documents, the expression of interest must be addressed to the Bank and submitted, together with any other required document, in a sealed envelope, to the tender box of the Procurement Committee, Office 018, Bank’s premises (80 John Kennedy Avenue, 1076, Nicosia), no later than 24 January 2025 at 13:00 hours, Cyprus time.
