Next Wednesday, 30/03/2022, the President of the European Central Bank, Ms Christine Lagarde, will be in Cyprus. At a particularly significant period for the European Union and the Eurozone, Ms. Lagarde, having accepted the invitation of the Governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus, Mr. Constantinos Herodotou, will visit Cyprus and will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from the political, economic and social sectors.

During her presence in Cyprus, Mrs. Lagarde will visit the Central Bank where she will meet with Mr. Herodotou. She will then have a meeting at the Presidential Palace with the President of the Republic, Mr. Nicos Anastasiades, in the presence of the Governor of the CBC. Ms. Lagarde will also participate in a conference, jointly with Mr. Herodotou, during which they will discuss, among other things, the future of the European economy and current challenges.
