The Central Bank of Cyprus concluded on 23 December 2021 its annual reassessment of the designation of Cyprus Investment Firms (CIFs) that meet the definition of O-SII institutions. In accordance with the reassessment, the CBC decided that no Cyprus Investment Firm could meet the definition of O-SII institutions. The decision was taken following consultation with the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission.
